The Cultural Tradition of Sadanga Mt. Province

Sadanga, a small town and peaceful community having rules of te-er or restday by placing bamboo shafts on the two roadsides prompting its passage to demonstrate that the town has announced its rest days. It implies that tourist or anyone are not permitted to enter the town during those days. For the citizens of sadanga’s it’s not also allowed for them to work on their rice fields, These have no fix days and the limit of their rest period or te-er has a maximum of three days.

For the deliberatio of Teer. A council of elders would meet for up on their ator for hours to discuss anything whether it’s time to close the town. And upon agreement, their spokesperson makes the announcement with the use of mega phone and their native dialect during the evening so that everybody is at home to hear him.

These practice of our community is already a part of our traditional culture beacause it’s been there for decade. These longtime tradition has united us and make our community better.
